Welcome

Hello to my hopeful subscribers. As the title of the Blog states, I'm a Middle School Band Director. Right now I'm finishing up with my first year of teaching in a sleepy little town in Oregon. I'm older than most starting teachers. At 30 I've played in military bands since graduating High School. Now I've started a new chapter in my life and thought writing about it would help me collect my thoughts. During Grad School I wrote pages upon pages every day. Now almost a year after graduating I'm feeling the itch to start writing again. This is mostly a professional journal of my adventures in Middle School. Thank you for reading.
